Choosing Your Wedding Colors

Choosing your weddings colors can be one of the most difficult and important aspects of planning your wedding. But it doesn't have to be so hard! You just need to ask yourself a few important questions to get you on the right track.

One of the first questions is what sort of mood you'd like to create. Softer colors create a romantic feel while vibrant colors envoke a sense of drama and boldness. Although the final decisions are completely up to you, I would highly suggest taking the season into consideration as well. Darker colors complement the Fall and Winter while softer colors are great for the Spring and Summer.

A few other things to take into consideration are the main colors of your venue as well as what is most flattering on your bridesmaids. Nothing would be worse than choosing your colors just to realize on the big day the color of the walls around the venue wash out the pretty colors of the bridesmaids dresses. Or possibly worse yet that the color of the bridesmaids dresses aren't quite as flattering as you had hoped.

Here are some gorgeous color palettes.

Purples & Gold

Aqua & Emerald

Red & Black

The possibilites are endless-have fun with it!
