Seth and Sarah exchanged vows out on the Wedding Island on a crystal clear, beautiful afternoon earlier this month and our Wedding Coordinator, Robyn Hansen, snapped some gorgeous pictures of their ceremony and inside the ballroom that we wanted to share with you! A trend we're definitely starting to see more of, is mismatched bridesmaids dresses-and we just love the color scheme Sarah chose for her bridesmaids, so pretty!
Along with the beautiful flower centerpieces and a personal photo of the bride and groom, each table had a carton of blueberries-such a cute idea!
Congratulations to the happy couple! Such a beautiful wedding.

Pink and gold...two hues we're absolutely loving right now. Pink is notoriously one of the most popular wedding colors, and instead of pairing it with just white, black or ivory, this is the perfect way to really make it pop. Whether it's a vintage pale pink, or bright magenta, this hue pairs perfectly with elegant gold tones. What we love is that you can use bright pinks and create a super girly, chic look, or you can use muted, pale pinks and create a very elegant, vintage look. Throw in a little sparkle here and there and you've got yourself a beautiful wedding!

We would like to congratulate Wilderness Ridge's very own, Jill Cockson on her 1st place finish at the GQ Bombay Sapphire Inspired Bartender Event! Jill was one of 14 local Mixologists that competed in the event held Monday August 13th in Omaha at the Magnolia Hotel. Dubbed the "Mumbai Exorcism," Jill's flaming concoction earned her a trip to Las Vegas on September 9th to compete in the national competition as the sole representative from the state of Nebraska. We wish Jill the very best of luck!!

The Yellowstone ballroom was the ceremony and reception site for David and Jenny's July 28th nuptials. The room was set up theatre style as the couple exchanged vows in front of the fireplace, and immediately following the ceremony it was transformed to accommodate their reception.
A few things we loved...the giant "J & D" letters they decorated the mantle with, accompanied by two large floral arrangements. It gave the room a personal touch and provided a cool backdrop for their pictures.
We also loved the cake table. Lincoln cake lady, Donna Roehrs, was behind the gorgeous display. They chose to make this a point of focus in the room, going with three cakes instead of just one. This is a cool idea if you want to put this area on display, and while it can be costly to have more than one cake, you can always use styrofoam cakes (the two smaller ones in the above picture sure look real, dont they?).
While they used large centerpieces on a couple of the tables in the center of the room, every other table was decorated with an assortment of votives. It all came together beautifully and we couldn't be happier with how well it turned out. Congrats to the happy couple!
