Planning Events in a Budget Economy

In today's economy, many companies and families are tightening up budgets on meetings and social events. However, having a smaller budget doesn't mean you can't have a memorable event.

Planning a meeting on a budget:
For many businesses the economy means less spending and a keen eye on budgets. This often means cutting company events and downsizing meetings. At Wilderness Ridge we want you to know that you can host a successful event and still stay within budget.

One hassel free way to save at your next meeting is by choosing from one of our meeting planner packages. Our meeting planner packages have pre-selected options for breakfast, lunch, dinner and break-time snacks. The packages are a great choice for all-day meetings and are priced to fit any budget.

The Eagle Club Membership is another great money saving option for business who host multiple events throughout the year. By signing up for this yearly membership you will receive free room rental Monday-Thursday all day and Friday until 4pm. You also recieve free rental on A/V equipment and discounts in the restaurant and golf shop. Call Brandi at (402)434-5114 to find out how your business can start saving today.

Planning a wedding on a budget:
To keep your wedding budget in check many brides choose to go the "do it yourself" route but nothing beats the experience of a skilled wedding planner. Our sales manager at Wilderness Ridge has planned countless events and knows what's best to make your wedding a success. If you are planning your wedding with a strict budget let our staff know as soon as you start planning and we will do everything we can to accomodate you!

An easy way to save money on your wedding reception is by hosting your wedding on a Friday evening! You can enjoy the same great atmosphere at a reduced cost. Lower food and beverage minimums allow for you and your family to host the event of your dreams while staying within your budget.

Another money saving suggestion is to host your rehearsal dinner and reception at the same location. When you book both your wedding reception and rehearsal dinner at Wilderness Ridge you will recieve a free room rental on your rehearsal dinner. Not only is this a great way to save it also provides your guests a chance to see the reception location so there is no trouble finding the venue on the day of your wedding.
